Volkswagen Amarok

The latest generation of the Volkswagen Amarok is closely related to the Ford Ranger, as both trucks share the same platform, powertrains, and technology. This collaboration allows the Amarok to use many of the Ranger’s engines and transmissions, including the advanced turbocharged diesel and petrol options paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox. Despite the shared engineering, Volkswagen adds its own styling, interior design, and tuning to give the Amarok a distinct character. 

Ford Everest

The Ford Everest is an SUV built on the same platform as the Ford Ranger. It uses several of the Ranger’s diesel engine options, including powerful turbodiesel units designed for strong torque and towing capability.
